Take shuttle to Emerald Corridor, a scenic road lined with tall bamboo creating a green tunnel. Hike along the corridor (1 hour) and have lunch at a local restaurant with bamboo-themed dishes (bamboo shoots, bamboo fungus soup). - Afternoon – Bamboo Sea Waterfall & Return
Visit Bamboo Sea Waterfall, the largest waterfall in the scenic area, and hike the surrounding trails to experience the “bamboo sea” atmosphere. In late afternoon, take shuttle out of the scenic area and return to Yibin, then take high-speed train back to Chengdu (1.5 hours).

- By high-speed train + bus: Take CRH train from Chengdu East Railway Station to Yibin West Railway Station (1.5 hours, 80-100 RMB). Then take bus from Yibin South Bus Station to Shunan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area (1.5 hours, 30-40 RMB).
- By long-distance bus: Take direct bus from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station to Shunan Bamboo Sea (4 hours, 80-100 RMB).
- By private car: 3.5-hour drive from Chengdu via Chengdu-Yibin Expressway, about 300-400 RMB one-way. Parking available at the scenic area entrance (20 RMB/day).
- Internal transport: Scenic area shuttle bus (50 RMB) is required to access different attractions; walking trails connect nearby attractions.
