With a history of over 2,000 years, it is where Zhang Daoling, the founder of Taoism, established the “Way of the Celestial Masters” in the Eastern Han Dynasty. How to Get to Qingcheng Mountain
- By high-speed train + shuttle: Take CRH train from Chengdu to Dujiangyan (30 mins, 15-25 RMB). Then take bus No. 101 or 102 from Dujiangyan Railway Station to Qingcheng Mountain Front Gate (30 mins, 5-10 RMB).
- By direct bus: Take bus from Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station to Qingcheng Mountain (1.5 hours, 25-35 RMB).
- By tour bus: Many Chengdu hotels offer one-day tour buses to Qingcheng Mountain + Dujiangyan (150-250 RMB including transport).
- By private car: 1.5-hour drive from Chengdu, parking available at the mountain entrance (20 RMB/day).
