- Jiuzhaigou Pilgrimage Day:▫️ Admire Reflections at Emerald Mirror Lake: Use a traditional Tibetan bronze mirror to compare with Five-Flower Lake, and learn the Bon religion’s animistic belief that “water is the mirror of heaven”.▫️ Prayer Flag Bridge at Shuzheng Waterfall Group: Hang hand-painted lungta (wind horses) flags, letting the waterfall mist carry your wishes toward Zhayizhaga Sacred Mountain.

▫️ Incense Burning Blessing Ritual: Copy the Six-Syllable Mantra on birch bark with pine smoke ink, then place it into the blue smoke from burning cypress branches.
▫️ In-Depth Experience of Three Tibetan Intangible Cultural Heritage Crafts:
- Thangka Workshop: Under the guidance of a monk artist, mix mineral pigments, practice “spiritual cultivation with fingertips” by painting the robes of Green Tara, and explore the cosmic symbolism of mandala sand painting.
- Tibetan Incense Making: Knead incense clay mixed with 30 Tibetan medicinal herbs, make “cypress chanting incense” using ancient methods, and watch how the smoke delivers wishes to the three realms.
- Handicraft Experience: Choose and participate in intangible cultural heritage crafts based on personal interests.
▫️ Afternoon Butter Tea Gathering: Pound butter tea with a sandalwood tea bucket to learn the making process, and knead roasted barley flour (zanba) in your palms to shape warm “annual rings”.
▫️ Village “Information Hub”: Sit around the highland barley racks to decode pastoral secret codes, and listen to Khamba men improvise the chanting of the “Gesar” grassland epic.
▫️ Evening Guozhuang Dance: Put on a woolen Tibetan robe (pulu) and dance the “Darga” spinning dance. Pair the sound of tearing dried yak meat with the music of an eagle bone flute to “summon” the snow-capped mountain moonlight.

Notes
(1) There is a large temperature difference between morning and evening in Jiuzhaigou, and the temperature is relatively low, so please dress appropriately. For example, you must wear thick clothes from March to May and September to December, and bring a light jacket from June to August.
(2) Footwear: It is recommended to wear comfortable sports shoes, etc.
(3) Sun Protection: Prepare sun protection gear such as a sun hat.
(4) Skincare: Bring oil-based balm-type skincare products, moisturizer, and lip balm. Drink plenty of boiled water or eat more fruits to prevent skin dryness, roughness and chapping.

Balance payment
- Cancellation 12 days or more before departure: Full refund.
- Cancellation 9 days before departure: 30% cancellation fee of the total order amount.
- Cancellation 7 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee of the total order amount.
- Cancellation 5 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee of the total order amount.

Beautiful landscapes and a glimpse into Tibetan cultureBy Jason L. 11/01/2025The 4-day Jiuzhaigou tour was well organized and covered all the main highlights we want to see. The scenery was absolutely stunning — especially the colorful lakes and snow-capped mountains. Our local guide spoke good English and shared interesting insights about Tibetan customs and local life. The itinerary was quite full, but manageable, and the hotels met expectations for a remote mountain area. The drive from Chengdu was long but scenic, with plenty of rest stops along the way. Overall, this trip offered a nice mix of natural beauty and cultural experience, ideal for travelers who want to see western Sichuan beyond the big cities.Date of Experience: 05 10 月, 2025
