Leshan Giant Buddha + Oriental Buddha Capital One-Day Tour

Itinerary Arrangement

7:00 AM: Depart from Chengdu. Pick-up service available from hotels within the 3rd Ring Road.
9:00 AM: Visit the Leshan Giant Buddha. An awe-inspiring visual experience.
Boat Option: Board the boat at Wuyou Temple Pier to view the full majesty of the Buddha and the “Sleeping Buddha” natural formation (approx. 25 minutes cruise). Due to hot weather, this option is recommended, and the tour will include a visit to the Leshan Museum to learn about the Buddha’s history in a cooler environment.
Hiking Option (Alternative): Hike to the Buddha’s Head Viewing Platform and the Foot Platform (approx. 2.5 hours hike).
12:00 PM: Enjoy local delicacies. The guide will recommend nearby snacks; guests can choose, and the guide will assist with purchases.
2:00 PM: Explore the Oriental Buddha Capital. Located within the same UNESCO World Heritage site as the Leshan Giant Buddha, it features thousands of Buddhist statues across a vast forested area.
5:00 PM: Depart for Chengdu. The driver will drop guests off at hotels within the 3rd Ring Road to conclude the tour.

（It takes over two hours to walk through the Oriental Buddha Capital, while taking a boat tour of the Leshan Giant Buddha makes the trip much easier.）
