- By public transport: Take bus from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station to Ruoergai County (8 hours, 150-200 RMB). Buses depart daily at 6:30 AM. From Ruoergai County, take local minibuses to Flower Lake (30 mins, 15 RMB).
- By plane + bus: Fly from Chengdu to Songpan Airport (1 hour, 500-800 RMB), then take bus from Songpan to Ruoergai (2.5 hours, 50 RMB). This reduces travel time but is more expensive.
